After seeing the enormous need for marketing communications expertise in the marketplace, Linda Elizabeth Alexander formed Write to the Point Communications in 2001. Highlights of this entrepreneurial work include rewriting copy for three websites, new product catalog work, sales letters, and ongoing copywriting for a variety of clients. She has also served as a marketing consultant and written numerous tutorials and articles.

Alexander has been immersed in writing since she was 5 years old and involved in mass communication since she began her career. She worked as a newspaper journalist, in corporate communications, in public information, in publishing and finally in marketing. Her mission in life, as a messenger, is to facilitate clear communication among people and businesses around the world, informing, enlightening, and educating.

Before going out on her own, Alexander served as marketing and communications manager for the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) from 1997 to 2001. Responsible for marketing all of the society's products and services, coordinating trade show exhibits, promoting special events, and communicating with members and the media, she also played a role in strategic planning efforts.

Alexander earned her master's degree in English and professional writing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA while working as an editor for Bernard C. Harris Publishing. She received a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in communication arts from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY.
